Academic Tutor (Part-Time / Online)
Radiance Learning offers online academic enrichment to kids from grades K-8. We seek qualified candidates to tutor our academic program students (Specifically the English Language Arts). The schedule will typically be 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM PST every weekday and possibly on weekends. Candidates will work with our students on academic areas (English Language and Test Prep)
- Must be at least 18 years old and provide us with a recent background check.
- Bachelor's degree in Math or English and can confidently teach K-8 kids in English Language Arts. (We accept candidates pursuing their bachelor's or master's as well)
- Must be able to relate well with children and be willing to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with our program and philosophy
- Should be very comfortable with technology and can teach using Microsoft Teams and OneNote.
Tasks:
- Tutor using Microsoft Teams and OneNote.
- Communicate effectively
- Engage with children, always use a warm and nurturing tone of voice, and maintain a professional environment at all times.
- Keep a clean and organized program space at all times
- Grade and review effectively.
